After two editions and of consolidating ourselves as a
Catalan Circuit race
, this year we want to go a little further. With the collaboration of all and with the experience of the last years we will improve the offer, so much before, as
during and after the
race
, to become a race of the great
est
international impact.
We want Olla de Núria to be more than a race , a very special day for all the visitors of the Valley making everybody, from r unners to supporters, take part in an active way in it by making an excursion that coincides in some point of the circuit of the race, in order to power to animate the runners in the most emblematic places of the itinerary, besides 2000 meters high.
In short, a Olla de Nuria full of novelties and incentives: the change of date, this year is on the 19th of July, the fact that the test becomes the Championship of Catalonia of 2009 and the fact, that the test is more important, because it becomes the 1st Great International prize of the Nations, a prize that implies big cash prizes for the 5 first ones classified of each category and promotes the participationof great runners from other nations.
To make it possible, we have broadened the limit number of runners and we improve, services, broadcast, diffusion and environment, an some aspects of inscription.
Finally we want to thank everyone for the effort: sponsors, runners, collaborators, and in the about 40 members of the Unió Excursionista de Vic that together with Vall de Núria form the organizing team and to whom we thank especially for their enthusiasm.
